Tree Planting Woodall Park Pump Track
Sunday 22nd and Sunday 29th Sep
9 am to 12 midday.
Bring the kids and they can plant their very own trees on their very own special pump track.
Brett Garea from BGE Environments has kindly donated plants for us to plant on the day. Devonport Rotary will also supply plants purchased from our very own local RTH Native Plant Nursery. These plants are required to fill a few gaps and help stabilise the sides of the jumps.
Make it a family day! We encourage you to bring along your children so that they can plant their very own trees in this popular community space.
Please bring along your spades for digging and gardening gear such as rakes, weed eaters and clippers to trim the weeds and groom the track.
Government targeted relief
My sister is a Pensioner living in Wellsford. She has an appointment at North Shore Hospital tomorrow afternoon at 2.45pm. The 160km round trip would cost about $50 which is too expensive. Instead, she will be taking a free shuttle leaving from Wellsford at 8am tomorrow, so will have almost 6 hours wait at hospital . It is not only families with children who are struggling. I do understand that not everyone can be accommodated in the relief, but just saying.
