Please note dates for the remainder of 2024 of SH2 Remutaka Hill night-time maintenance closures as per Waka Kotahi NZTA:
Nights Start 9pm Finish 4am
5 nights Sun 1 Sept Fri 6 Sept
1 night Sun 13 Oct Mon 14 Oct
5 nights Sun 3 Nov Fri 8 Nov
There are no scheduled maintenance closures in December 2024.
Light vehicles can be escorted at intervals across the hill behind a pilot vehicle. See the the NZTA website for full details.
