DOG WALKER
Are there any school kids/students in the Miramar or Maupuia area that would like to earn extra money waking two friendly labradors who love to be walked. They’re very independent, love meeting other dogs and will come back to you when called. They are also good on their leads. One does pull a bit harder but once they get used to you they’ll be fine.
I’m looking at twice a week for 30/45 mins. 2 dogs for 30mins $30 and 45 mins $40. Walking the dogs locally, either down the Maupuia track or up around the prison is fine. Pls call me on 0211979214 if interested.

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝
In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”
We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.

FREE 10-liter emergency water bottles
Merry Christmas -
I have around twenty, empty 10-liter distilled water bottles to serve as emergency water storage. I saved them for my friends, but they already have their own water supplies. Take as many as you like. Please respond to this notice if you are interested.
Best wishes - Michael
