Red Cross Annual Appeal Street Collector Volunteers needed
We need you. Our Annual Appeal street collection is being held on the Friday 22 March & Saturday 23 March 2024. Can you give just two hours of your time for this year’s street collection? Join our Annual Street Appeal by becoming a street collector and make a difference for people and families here in Aotearoa New Zealand and around the world in their time of need.
We are looking for volunteers in Dunedin on 22-23 March to support our Annual Street Collection. We will need two volunteers per site per shift. Two-hour shifts start between 8 am and 6 pm.
Please visit our New Zealand Red Cross website, www.redcross.org.nz............ and click "Volunteer to be a street collector", for more information and to register as a volunteer. Once registered, we will email you a link to log in to our scheduling system and you can book your shift.
Note: This sign-up is only for new volunteers joining us for the first time. If you are an existing Red Cross member or employee, please speak to your contact person or manager to find out how to schedule your shift.

Got more greens than you know what to do with? 🥦🌱🥕
Whether it’s a courgette takeover or a feijoa frenzy, don’t let those garden gems go to waste!
Our suggestion to you: Did you know you can grate and freeze excess courgettes to use in chocolate cake later? It sounds a bit dodgy, but it makes the cake incredibly moist ... and hey, it counts as a serving of veg, right? 🍫
