Shepherding/farming

Remi from Hope

Hi!

I'm very interested in getting into learning how to muster dogs for herding sheep and cattle. As a beginner but have grown up with sheep and other farm animals I'm keen to get a foot in the door in the shepherding field in the Nelson Marlborough region. Any advice as to how to get in or any farmers out there that can show me the ropes to get that experience need!
Any advice would be helpful or if you're a farmer I'd love to chat

Cheers

The Riddler from The Neighbourly Riddler

If a zookeeper had 100 pairs of animals in her zoo, and two pairs of babies are born for each one of the original animals, then (sadly) 23 animals donโ€™t survive, how many animals do you have left in total?

Poll: As a customer, what do you think about automation?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Press investigates the growing reliance on your unpaid labour.

Automation (or the โ€œunpaid shiftโ€) is often described as efficient ... but it tends to benefit employers more than consumers.

We want to know: What do you think about automation?
Are you for, or against?
