An update on our Education Day this Saturday - sadly, our speaker Kathryn Patterson is unwell and has had to cancel. We plan to have her back next year. Jill Williams, a Fellow of the Irish Genealogial Research Society, originally from Cork and now based in Edinburgh, will be presenting to us instead (live via Zoom). Jill has been researching and teaching family history for many years and we're delighted she's helping us out at such short notice.

Wellington’s Te Awe Library on Brandon St will be closing its doors for good at 5 pm on March 1. It’s been the city’s largest temporary library, and now it’s making way for the exciting return of Te Matapihi Central Library!
