Keeping our homes safe is very important as we age, and of course, so is keeping our selves safe too! That’s why you’re invited to a free seminar on Thursday 7th September, when Community Constable, Steven Webb, will share some essential tips for both home and personal safety.
What: Free Virtual Village East seminar
When: 1.30 to 2.30pm, Thursday 7th September 2023

Where: HBH Howick Views (meet at reception)

Cost: Free for seniors

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
