Charity donations doubled today - Sweat with Pride challenge
Hi Neighbours!
I'm doing the Sweat with Pride challenge for the month of June (which raises money for charity) and today all donations are being matched (doubled) by Spark!
I haven't managed to get very many sponsors so far so even a small donation would help me if you have the ability please?
21 minutes is the magic number we all need to exercise to be healthy so I've joined the challenge and am raising money for charity as I go..
I've committed to exercising for at least 21 minutes EVERY DAY this June, both for myself and to help out some pretty cool charities..
Every dollar raised will go to Burnett Foundation Aotearoa and fund projects in partnership with RainbowYOUTH, OutLine, and Tīwhanawhana to improve the mental and physical health of Rainbow communities in Aotearoa. YAY! COOL!

Pak n Save [ at it again, confusing prices specials etc]
So we went to some shopping at our local Henderson Pak N Save and see the so-called specials. [times are hard for us all so specials are always on the menu] we see these on special. 2 packs for $6 .So i got 2 different ones from the options of flavors, many people were doing the same and saying it's a good deal!. Went through checkout and checked the receipt before leaving the shop. And wouldn't you know it, got charged full price [$1 extra] . When I asked to check, we had to go check the shelves to see [I also had to take a photo to prove it, as this is a weekly issue here, and they always deny it!] the lady manager couldn't tell me if this was correct and says I dont know if you can pick either one to mix or not so she had to asked another women who didnt know, then they had to ask another guy [now 3 staff members standing there with me] . Then she said no! you cant mix and match!. I said thats rubbish, your signs say 2 for $6 ,they are all the same brand and all the same price and as customers we see it that way as that is how it is presented to us to encourage us to take advantage of the special . Or am I wrong?. If you see refresh drink packets on special does that mean you can only buy one flavour?. I was sick of this ongoing attitude with the staff trying to always make you look like your wrong and they are right. No apology. I just asked for a refund and had no product. I wonder how many people do not check their receipts. We have issues every week because we always check. It is astounding how many times they get away with this issue of pricing.[and they have been warned of this on multiple times. Please check your receipts in these hard times and do not let them get away with taking your hard-earned money that could be used for more urgent things. it may seem small but over a year amounts to a large sum. I think it is a complete rip off and if there was competition in similar pricing [not woolworths , too pricey] they would of lost me as a customer a long time ago. My family alone spends over $500 a week here, not good enough.
