Road closure Saturday 13 May
A heads-up for Welcome Bay residents that a small section of Waitaha Road will be closed 8am-4pm on Saturday 13 May for some investigative work ahead of construction of a roundabout at the intersection of Waitaha and Welcome Bay Road later this year.
A detour will be in place via James Cook Drive for traffic to access Waitaha Road. One-lane traffic with stop/go traffic management will be in place on Welcome Bay Road.
The bus stop outside 13 Waitaha Road will be closed, with a temporary bus stop outside 39/41 Waitaha Road. The bus stop outside Welcome Bay Hall will remain open. Full pedestrian/cyclist access will remain around the work site. Thank you for your patience and understanding while we get this work done.
