Wednesday 26 April HANNAH BANKS will speak and lead discussion on
“THE HIGHS AND LOWS OF HIGH SCHOOL: WHAT’S WORKING AND
WHAT’S NOT IN NEW ZEALAND SECONDARY EDUCATION?”
Hannah is Associate Principal at Nayland College. Her passions include
providing equitable access for students from varied backgrounds and
with wide-ranging learning needs. An educator working with young people, she
will lead the discussion on current changes in the secondary education system
and the work going on in schools to adapt to the changing needs of New
Zealand society and its young people.

NZ Post and Rachel Boyack
I see our MP, Labour’s Rachel Boyack, is shedding crocodile tears over the NZ Post closures announced today for Nelson. Perhaps Rachel has ‘forgotten’ it was Labour that corporatised NZ Post, intentionally turning it from a service organisation into one focused solely on profit. Her cries would be a little more credible if she could promise Labour would reopen the closed offices or, even better, reverse that Labour-directed profit-only change.
