Night support that makes a difference
Are you looking for a people focused night shift role?
A young disabled man is looking for your help!
He lives at home with his family and needs quite a bit of support to look after his wellbeing and keep him engaged. We are looking for someone to take on a night support role so his parents can sleep knowing someone else is there to support him. He is a fun and engaging guy, who needs someone around him to keep him safe.
The night shift role involves supporting him to get ready for bed, overseeing his medication and then doing some tasks while he sleeps. He has some fancy technology in place, that someone needs to keep an eye on – no experience needed, just someone to listen for a warning beep and respond if needed. Basically, this role requires someone patient, compassionate and able to pay attention when needed. When he doesn’t sleep you two can watch TV, play games or you can read to him.
The shifts are 7pm – 7am, we can be flexible around what days you would like to work, but we need someone 3 or 4 days per week.
There are day shifts available to support him after school and in the weekends if that suits your schedule better.
