run away chook

Tatiana from Glenfield

Hi everyone, one of my chooks has just run away from Park Road (around 36 - 40) straight into the rain. She got scared by some reasons, jumped the fence and disappeared. I saw her running in the direction towards the neighbourhood down to the Domain road. If you manage to see and (hopefully!) catch her somehow, could you please call me as I am keen on returning her to her safe haven? She is medium size red hen, lovely girl but easily gets scared. I'll give my number if you send me a personal message.
Many thanks in advance! I'm really really concerned for her wellbeing!

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
