What type of elected officials do we want? I don't have the whole answer myself , maybe you do.
What I do know is that I have a problem with elected officials who see themselves as being special and entitled. An example is Ron Marks who, when as minster of defence, decided it was a great idea for an air force helicopter to pick in up from his home and fly him to his engagements. i.stuff.co.nz...
I guess we can be grateful that CDC doesn't have a helicopter.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

Builder Wanted or seeking builder (LBP).
We are looking for a semi-retired builder or solo LBP to supervise / co-work with me while I undertake an extension project as a self-build . Rates to be negotiated prior to commencement. Currently in the design stage at present with Architect. I have experience from past house builds so not a raw beginner, both in design and construction.
