DO YOU HAVE ENOUGH LAND TO RELOCATE A TINY HOUSE?

Glenna Neighbourly Lead from Hataitai

Young couple, currently renting a small area of a section in Hataitai for their Tiny House, are looking for a new place to park their home in Wellington central, ideally Hataitai, as their landlords are about to sell their property.
Steve owns a landscaping and gardening company and Mil works in sustainability. We both share values such as a desire to live closer to nature, to do so with minimal impact on the environment, to be part of a community and to do so in an affordable and unique way. We’re excited about continuing our tiny house dream-living and the possibilities available in this space, but there’s a missing piece to the puzzle… a place to put it! This could be where our paths cross.
Essentially, we’re on the hunt for a relatively small area of flat land where we could put our tiny house on wheels. This would ideally be an area on a property we could pay rent to have the house on, but could also be a small subdivision for sale. Either way, the intention is for the tiny house to be removable (not fixed to the site). You could view this as an opportunity for a number of reasons, including the obvious rental or sale income, endorsing and facilitating a new way to think about housing and the environmental impact of it, helping a young couple live out a dream, and we could also discuss gardening services for the property we’re on as a part of a barter agreement, to name a few. If this opportunity appeals to you, or to someone you know in the community, we’d be grateful if you contacted us to discuss it further, or passed on our details.
We’d pay a weekly rent/lease/buy for the spot of land and are happy to negotiate this price with you to make it fair for both of us.
Thanks in advance for any and all assistance!

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

There's nothing worse than strolling around the streets in your neighbourhood and seeing dumped rubbish.

Have you noticed this in your area? What could we do to combat this around the country?

Can you crack Today’s neighbourhood conundrum?

Riddler from The Neighbourly Riddler

Without a bridle or a saddle, across a thing, I ride a-straddle. And those I ride, by help of me, though almost blind, are made to see. What am I?

Riddler from The Neighbourly Riddler

What is first white then red and the plumper it gets the more the old lady likes it?
