Tawa U3A Open Day 23rd August
Tawa U3A (www.u3a.org.nz) is holding an Open Day on Tuesday 23rd August at 10:00 to midday at the Tawa Community Centre. U3A provides over 40 activities and courses for people who are no longer working full time. This is an opportunity to learn, develop new interests and skills, and to have fun. Come along to our Open Day - we would love to tell you all about us.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
