Do you have unwanted wool/acrylic or material scraps suitable for quilting?
If you have unwanted wool/acrylic - odd balls and ends of balls, etc are fine - or material scraps suitable for quilting, our group of elderly ladies are always needing supplies. We make blanket squares and quilts, jumpers for children, scarves, hats and gloves for people in Romania, Moldova, and that part of the world where poverty is rife and where people live often in fear of their lives. The blankets squares are sewn up and then crocheted round the edges and we have the pleasure of knowing that someoe at the other side of the world is being kept warm by our efforts - it's a good feeling but we need constant supplies so if you can help, please ring me on 021-057-0371 and I will arrange to collect the goods.
