Screen wiper trap

Richard from Belmont

I had my car wind screen repaired by Smith and Smith in Glenfield last week. They sent me a txt saying "after testing your wipers I can see that they are due to be changed soon as they are starting to leaving streak marks...." I fell into the trap and agreed. When I got home I noticed that the driver side wipers had been replaced as part of a service and WOF less than 3 weeks before. So, they said that a brand new wiper needs replacing. When I rang them up, they didn't want a bar of refunding me at least 1 wiper. So watch out for this trap.

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
