Volunteers required
Heretaunga Seniors, part of Anglican Care Waiapu, is growing and require volunteers. All positions require police clearance. We are in need of drivers (car license ) and people to help our members and work with our staff and volunteers, must be a team player. I can highly recommend these positions as very rewarding. As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
