Pinehaven pot-luck dinner/movie night - this Sat, for the whole family!

Carl from Pinehaven

Come join us for a fun, relaxed, warm, winter family movie night down at the Hall.
Bring something to share for a simple potluck dinner from 5pm - get to know some of the other families in the neighbourhood over a shared bite to eat.
Then we’ll kick of the movie sometime around 5:45-6pm…it will be the original Muppet Movie…a bit of fun and nostalgia for all ages.
All you need to bring is something to share for dinner and perhaps a bean bag or something comfy for the kids to snuggle into during the film.
If you’re keen to join us drop us a line at events@ppa.org.nz.
We hope to see you there!

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
