Upgrades to Orangapani Reserve

Communications from Tauranga City Council

A pump track will be installed at Orangapani Reserve at the end of June. As this reserve was also the most popular location for a basketball court, we’ll be installing a court by August, and will hold an event to celebrate these new facilities in September. More updates will be provided closer to these improvements taking place.

Other improvements taking place at selected reserves will include more shade, drinking fountains, BBQ facilities, picnic tables and seats.

These are the key things that will be delivered to the Lakes community, following a survey where the community told us about what they would like to see at their neighbourhood reserves.

Work has also commenced on the Pyes Pa walkway network and Stage 4 which connects into the Lakes is estimated to be complete in 2024/2025.
