Opening May 20: Peace on Earth

The Feilding & District Art Society

Feilding Art Centre has undergone a transformation. From tomorrow, when you pass through the doors of 104 Manchester Street, you’ll find yourself immersed in images of the natural and spiritual world, all representing Michael Angelo’s vision for Peace on Earth.

We’ve decided to share some sneak peaks of today’s install, but nothing will prepare you for the world Michael has created. Fish swim up toward the ceiling, native trees grow out from the floor, and colourful birds appear to fly across the walls.

Peace on Earth is an experiential exhibition featuring artwork inspired by New Zealand’s natural environment as well as icons from Michael’s own imagination. Visit Feilding Art Centre between May 20 to June 16.

Stolen Pot plants

Audrey from Milson

Last week on my return from a few days away a green 33cm shrub tub of petunias was missing from the front of my garage,
Today a 39cm terracotta tub of orange pansies and a 33cm shrub of pansies was mmissing from alongise my driveway in Fairs Road.
I have reported these losses to the police.
Should anyone notice that neighbours suddenly have pots or tubs of flowers, either call the police or ask them to return them. They know where they got them.
