Tim Bray Theatre Company awarded from Deaf Aotearoa
It was a huge honour to be presented with the NZSL in Arts Award at the Auckland Deaf Society on Friday night! 😃 This award from Deaf Aotearoa acknowledges our commitment to providing NZSL interpreted shows and programmes for Deaf children since 2004. NZSL interpreted performances allow Deaf children and their families to experience the magic of live theatre in their preferred language. We feel so grateful 🤝 to be recognised for our work to connect with and grow our Deaf audiences. And to make the night even more special, our interpreter who has been with us from the very first performance, Kelly Hodgins from @platforminterpretingnewzealand , was there to receive the award with us. Her incredible hard work 💪 has been essential to this journey, and we couldn't have done it without her!"
