CAFE WITH NO COFFEE
Dough Bakery Cafe in Expressions/Whirinaki in Upper Hutt turns off its coffee machine at 2.30pm - at least in the weekends.
So bowled up to the cafe at 2.40pm today with three others and was bowled over with a pancake when was told that coffee is off the menu but we could have everything else.
What good is a cafe that does not serve coffee? And especially so within the greater Wellington region where cafe coffee is considered world class.
So bought some cakes/cakey doughnuts to take home for afternoon tea. But afternoon tea at Dough Bakery is off the radar for us in future.
