Insulated winter shelter
Thanks to neighbourly the Colombo Street cat, grant aka garden puss now has a winter insulated shelter to go to before the cold season kicks in, here's Grant waiting for some breakie whilst getting a visit from our Cat Oryx - "Hey Bro"

I have around twenty, empty 10-liter distilled water bottles to serve as emergency water storage. I saved them for my friends, but they already have their own water supplies. Take as many as you like. Please respond to this notice if you are interested.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
