Going to ChCh or Timaru by private vehicle in next 5 days ?
My son, who is a builder recently holidayed in Timaru and loves the place. He has decided to stay on as he has an employment offer there. We are trying to find a way to get his tools to him asap. As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
