Ngatea Indoor Bowling opens for the 2022 season next Tuesday 1st March at 7 pm at Ngatea War Memorial Hall Orchard Rd Ngatea. Finish about 9-30pm.
Just bring some soft-soled shoes and your vaccine pass to join us for a couple of hours of fun and friendship. Indoor bowls is a game for all ages and fitness levels that the whole family can play together. The first night is free for new players

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
