Term 1 Classes + Activities at Parnell Community Centre

Danielle Muller from The Village Square Trust

Term 1 classes will go ahead under 🚨 Red Light 🚨 restrictions so sign up today at villagesquare.org.nz/enrol to secure your place!

Under the guidance set out by the government, we're excited that we can proceed with Term 1 classes as planned under the Red Light alert level. We will have the following precautions in place to ensure the safety of our students and staff:

➡️ Class numbers will be limited based on social distancing measures.
➡️ Vaccine passes will be required. Present this to your tutor at the first class of term.
➡️ Face masks must be worn inside the Jubilee Building at all times. If you’re doing an exercise class masks can be removed once you’re inside the room.

If for some reason your class is unable to go ahead (eg. Lockdown, further restrictions etc.) you will be refunded for all remaining classes or you can receive a credit note to use for future terms. We will also offer a virtual option so some classes can continue if possible.

If you have any further questions about how Covid-19 restrictions may affect classes, please do not hesitate to contact us at community@villagesquare.org.nz

Poll: Should we ditch daylight saving? 🕰️

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

First introduced in New Zealand in 1927 with the passing of the Summer Time Act, it's what we know as 'Daylight Saving' and this year it ends on the first Sunday in April.

While we do get to sleep in this time around, some people would like to scrap the clock tinkering for good.

And why? Some evidence suggests the time changes are bad for our health as they mess with sleep patterns leading to short-term fatigue and affecting mood. Meanwhile the hour change is frustrating for farmers and a nightmare for getting the littlies to sleep. But what's your take?

Poll: How important is the ability to book a doctor’s appointment online?

The Doctors

Hi Neighbours
Here at The Doctors we would love to hear how you prefer to book your doctor’s appointments. With busy schedules, different people find different methods easier.

For some, online booking is very convenient, you can make an appointment anytime without needing to wait on the phone. Others still prefer calling the clinic and speaking to a real person, especially if they have specific questions about their visit.

Your feedback helps us understand what works best for our patients and how we can improve access to care.
