‼️STILL SEEKING FOSTER HOMES

😻💖Looking for long term foster homes 😻💖

Kitten season is already in action and we are I'm searching of some foster homes!

I'm looking for people who can commit to long term fostering 4-6 months and people who are comfortable taking in larger litters and adult cats.

Please note that you will need to foster at least 3 times to be able to adopt.
** we are not looking for foster to adopt**

What's needed?:

🐈‍⬛ safe home
🐈‍⬛ LOVE
🐈‍⬛ Pet friendly home
🐈‍⬛ Commitment to at least 3 litters.
🐈‍⬛ Your own transportation
🐈‍⬛ Live in or near the city (south coast is ideal)
🐈‍⬛Good Communication
🐈‍⬛ Flexibility with amount of cats and temperaments.

What's ideal but not necessary?:

🐈A separate room
🐈Time when handling younger kits with no mum, if mums there she does all the work.
🐈Funds to supply food and litter but if needed am able to reimburse, vet bills and stuff like that is covered.

It doesn't matter if you have a big family, live alone, have other pets, working or not working! 💖

Please PM me if this sounds like something you could be interested in or if you have any questions.

Thank you, Kirihika ( Pōneke Ngeru Rescue )

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
