Boy giving away magazines
Hi has anyone else had a teenage boy walk up to your house with box of magazines that he was giving away? This happened to my husband yesterday, this boy had been going door to door with these magazines. What seems strange is that he was bare foot, carrying this box, walking without shoes on our footpaths and driveway ouch. My husband told him to go to the rest home or as he put it old folks home and give the magazines to them but he didn't know where that was, even though he lives in Wyndham.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
