Eastbourne vaccine rates high

The Ministry of Health has released data showing Covid-19 vaccination rates by suburb. In Eastbourne, the percentage of the eligible population to have received at least one vaccination is 92 per cent. And 54. 6per cent have the second dose.
This compares to a national average of 77.92% for first doses and 49.72% for second doses.
The Government says “it’s never been more urgent” to get vaccinated and has announced a national day of action on Saturday, October 16. So, book your jab online at bookmyvaccine.covid19.health.nz or call 0800 28 29 26.
