Covid Shop Screens

Julian from Ashhurst - Pohangina

Hello, my name is Julian Hardy and I have a small business called We Cut Shapes based just out of Ashhurst. We use Laser cutters to make shapes of all sizes. We are a specialist in acrylic which we can use to make guards for your business. We made a number of these last lockdown, and most of our clients have left them up, and comment on how much spray and mucus they wipe off these after every day. We custom make these to your own requirements and conditions, not the mass produced screens I have seen around that are below the height of customers mouths.....We can also etch your logo, apply decals so you can use these going forward, becoming part of your store rather than a slapped up piece of plastic.
If you would like a screen you can get in touch with us via our email cutshapes@gmail.com and we can see what we can create for you. We can order and create screens in L3 & L4 as screens are designated a essential service.

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
