Wellington Free Ambulance needs your support
Covid is a reminder of just how much we rely on health professionals. One of those health professionals is Wellington Free Ambulance. We are lucky to have a free ambulance service and over the next few weeks it is likely to be under more pressure than normal. There are 500,000 people in the region and if 85,.000 text ONESIE to 3181 to donate $3, that would be an incredible $255,000, the cost of a new ambulance. You can also donate online at onesieday.co.nz

Just for a little bit of fun, we'd love to know whether Kiwis believe in ghosts. What goes on in our communities that we don't know about!
Perhaps you've seen a ghost or lived in a haunted home in New Zealand. We'd love to know, so vote in our poll and share your experiences in the comments below.

KENT TERRACE, WELLINGTON CENTRAL - BURST PIPE AFFECTING TRAFFIC
Kia ora Wellington,
A burst pipe has caused flooding on Kent Terrace, between Vivian Street and Buckle St (approximately).
Crews are onsite, and we're awaiting urgent traffic management so we can undertake the repair.
While we wait for traffic management, we're asking people to avoid the area if possible, and if not please expect delays. We appreciate that this is a main route, so are doing all we can to minimise impact on commuters.
At this stage, we don't expect a shutdown to affect any properties but will provide more information as the repair progresses.
It's a major repair and we expect it to take between 8 -10 hours.
We'll keep you updated on our social channels.
