Art Class for Beginners in Birkenhead

The Team from Highbury Community House Inc

This term we will be using pattern to define our creations being inspired by the artists Mondrian and Matisse for some of our references.

Using real life to inspire the basis for the abstraction and pattern, beginning with working drawings and using mixed media to explore the art making process.

I welcome you to come and enjoy the flow of your creativity...



DATES: Thursday 29th July – Thursday 16th September 2021 (8 weeks)

TIME: 10.45am – 12.45pm

COST: $165.00 (GST inc)



The cost of materials is included in the course fee. Payment in full

will secure your place in the programme.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
