Ukulele lessons
I am a certified JHUI (James Hill Ukulele Instructor) and looking for students for my next class. Anyone, any age can attend although I am looking for people who will practice. The course teaches melody, harmony, and rhythm and is a great way to learn to play music. There will opportunities for performance once you have learned the music. Please contact me either by text or call at 02040521762. The class will start in September and I am looking at the ages of the students and the times available. The classes will either be at my home in Pollok or at the Pollok Hall, depending on the numbers.
Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

Illegal dumping
This is awful how people just disregard bylaws. dump their rubbish in parks and waterways to try get away with having to pay dumping costs at the rubbish dumps and transfer stations. This also can cause flooding again due to blocking the grate of the culvert in Princes street. No thought for neighbours or damage that can be caused by their actions.
