Are you impacted by the sewer improvements on Maunu Rd?

Whangarei District Council is upgrading the sewer main on Maunu Rd in the CBD. The roadworks means there will be no right turn out of Armstrong Ave, Bernard St and Kauika Rd and no right turn into Armstrong Ave and Bernard St. The work is expected to run until August 15. Are you impacted?

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
