Have you been to a Ka Pai SOUP yet? This Thursday's your chance to see what it's all about!
Kind of like a mini dragon's den, it's a social event that aims to make community initiatives and cool wee projects happen quickly in Carterton.
Up to five people pitch their ideas for a community project, initiative or small business on the night to vie for the ‘pot’ of cash up for grabs. The audience pays $10 each directly into the 'pot' as they arrive, hear the pitches, enjoy a bowl of delicious soup with The Clareville Bakery bread, and vote for their favourite idea. At the end of the night, the idea with the most votes goes home with the pot of money to carry out their project or a discrete part of it.
All are welcome to come along to the Events Centre Foyer this Thursday 24th June, 6pm kick off, join in the fun, and support good stuff happening in Carterton. More info at kapaicarterton.nz/events
