Little Stories of Your Life!
Hi Everyone - LITTLE STORIES OF YOUR LIFE!
Find your voice, share your world and tell your story. Every Thursday starting 24 June 2021 from 3-4pm Thames Library Carnegie Room - Bring a short story of one of your life's experiences and read it whilst sharing afternoon tea. 5-10 mins to read. See file attached.
Note:
In the absence of our movie theatre in Thames it will be fun to create our own entertainment via each others stories and indeed may be just the push you need to write something down for your Grandchildren that they otherwise may never know... If you mention an interest at the library they will give you more written details.
Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
