Roofer/Applicator – Permanent Position Available
Arthur’s is a small family-owned/operated roof and property maintenance service company primarily working on domestic properties and are seeking someone with roofing experience to join our term.
We have a small staff and envision our ideal person is experienced and be able to demonstrate knowledge and efficiency on roofing. Availability to work some weekends is a must and a few times a year travel time away will be required.
This is a full-time position how ever being a weather dominated service industry, start and finish times can vary accordingly day by day and season by season. Also, this position involves a wide variety of work in any given day/week.
Ideally the position would suit a Builder or Roofer looking for a change. Alternatively, we are also happy to hear from those who do not meet all the criteria but consider themselves to be a skilled and experienced handyman and believe they would be an asset to our team.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
• Roof repairs on iron, Decramastic & concrete tile roofs.
• Butynol repairs and replacement.
• Spouting repairs and replacements.
• Spray applicator/ Water blasting
• Painting with spray unit and hand work
• Height & Safety training, specifically harness work.
We are looking for someone who is:
• Hardworking, Honest, reliable, and trustworthy
• Lateral thinker / solution provider
• Adaptable / flexible nature
• Respectful, good mannered, personable customer focused attitude required.
• A good communicator with strong command of the English language
• Mechanically minded
Additionally, you will have the
• a full clean current driver’s license is required.
• Ability to competently operate digital devices ie smart phone, GPS etc.
