Caught up with our local Tukituki MP earlier this week at Age Concern on Bristol Cres; had an opportunity to join in on a group discussion or have a one-on-one for 15 minutes. She's planning on making herself available once a month, next clinic planned for 10-12noon on Monday 24 May, unless she's called in to Parliament.
Come along, it's a great way to share issues and resources, and could spawn some smaller working groups for Flaxmere.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
