Dental cleaning - you don't have to go via a dentist, Dental Council says

Bruce from Takaro

See reply to my email inquiry, from the official authority.
It's lawful to go directly to a dental hygienist.
- I just rang two places and they do it.
Manawatu Dental Group 358 3988 at $150 to $229 if there's serious gum work to deal with in the treatment
Smile Dental, Victoria Street 0800n 476 453 $150 upwards,
NOTE their website says they give a FREE dentist check with that.
- But after hearing about that guy giving dental checks and cleans for $50 until he retired, I'm thinking that's what the price should be for a clean. About $50 to $100 done direct to a hygienist or willing dentist.
- Let's keep looking for the best deal and tell everyone.

Poll: As a customer, what do you think about automation?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Press investigates the growing reliance on your unpaid labour.

Automation (or the “unpaid shift”) is often described as efficient ... but it tends to benefit employers more than consumers.

We want to know: What do you think about automation?
Are you for, or against?
