Regular Breast Screening Saves Lives
Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers for women in New Zealand. Regular breast screening can identify breast cancer at an earlier stage so it can be treated earlier, which means a woman has a better chance of surviving the disease.
BreastScreen Aotearoa (BSA) is a national programme that provides free screening every two years for women aged 45 to 69 years. Please phone 0800 270 200 for more information or to enrol go to the BreastScreen Aotearoa website www.timetoscreen.nz
