Missing parcel

Jason from Unsworth Heights

Hi Unsworth and surrounds.

A parcel has gone missing (reported to police) on 15th Feb from Unsworth Drive.
It was apparently delivered by NZ Post but we never saw it arrive.
Extensive investigations have led NZ Post to conclude that the item has been stolen from our letterbox.

The item was a custom printed sweatshirt that my son used his Christmas money to order from overseas.
If you happen to have come across it and you didn’t know where it was supposed to be delivered to, please contact me directly.

I’ve included a picture in case it was opened.
It’s unique, custom printed and a size small, so won’t be of much use to anyone else.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
