You are invited to a PUBLIC MEETING on MONDAY 22 MARCH at 7.30pm at TITAHI BAY SURF LIFESAVING CLUB, 7 Toms Road, Titahi Bay. We have invited our elected representatives and office staff - Mayor Anita Baker, Cr Geoff Hayward, Cr Mike Duncan, CE Wendy Walker and officials - to provide an opportunity for the public to hear WHAT their plan is, WHEN the repairing is going to take place (public and private) and HOW they will be financially assisting if private owners are liable.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
