Next rates installment is due

Communications from Tauranga City Council

We’re offering hassle-free ways to pay your rates as we near Monday’s due date for the second rates instalment.

ANZ, BNZ, Westpac and other banks are phasing out cheques, while cash and EFTPOS payments require a visit to one of our locations.

Many people find direct debit to be the best option, because payments are made automatically.

A PRICELESS GIFT

Donna from Gate Pa

Hello everyone

The restriction on giving blood in response to the outbreak of ‘Mad Cow’ Disease in the UK (restricting anybody who lived in the UK between 1980 and 1996 from giving blood) was lifted 29 February 2024.

So, for the first time in over 30 years I donated blood last Tuesday. I am again able to give a priceless gift that may very well save a life – and all for just 1 hour of my time.

So, for whatever reason you haven’t given and would like to, I encourage you to find out more about how you can donate.

There is a lot of info on the NZ Blood Website.
