Time is running out ....

For you to get your donations to the collection points for the Tauranga Rotary Book Sale. All donations of goods need to be at one of the following locations by February 28, so that we have time to collect them, and sort and price them ready for you to come to the sale starting March 5.

It is looking great! Thank you to the all of the people who have already donated 1000s of wonderful books, puzzles and games, helping us to raise funds to support the people of Tauranga.

The Tauranga Rotary Book Sale will be held in the Seeka Coolstore, Harvard Way, Mt Maunganui, starting Friday March 5th 3pm to 8pm, March 6th and 7th from 9am to 4.30 (not at Easter). Donations of books, magazines, DVD's, jigsaw puzzles, sheet music or records must be taken to one of these drop off points before 28 February 2021: Caltex Greerton, Caltex Bayfair, Caltex Katikati, Caltex Welcome Bay, Z Energy Bethlehem, Z Energy Hewletts Rd, Z Energy 11th Ave, Wet and Forget Chapel St, Ray White Cherrywood, Challenge Service Station Omokoroa, Farmlands Te Puna, Stash it Papamoa, Philips Garage Fraser St, 20 Ririnui St Maungatapu, 24 Montana Drive, Pyes Pa. Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
