Nominations open for Tawa Community Board
A vacancy on the board has become available following the resignation of board member Steph Knight.
Nominations for the position open today Thursday 11 February.
Wellington City Council’s Electoral Officer, Warwick Lampp, encourages people keen to contribute to the future of Tawa to take up the challenge.
“Candidates must be nominated by two Tawa residents, but don’t need to live in Tawa themselves. It is also a great idea to submit a profile statement and recent photograph of themselves with their nomination that will be sent out with voting documents.
Completed nomination documents must be received by the Electoral Officer no later than 12 noon on Thursday 11 March.
