BOOK DRIVE FOR MT EDEN CORRECTIONS FACILITY - WANTED - PAPERBACKS AND JIGSAW PUZZLES
We hope you had a very Merry Christmas 🎄and have a wonderful New Year 🎆. If you are reorganising or downsizing over the holidays, Mt Eden Rotary would love to have some paperbacks 📚 and jigsaw puzzles 🧩 for the Mt Eden Corrections Facility, as follows:
Wanted – paperbacks only (no hardcovers) in very good condition – which are clean, with no loose pages and no yellowed/stained pages – in the following categories:
Fiction – aimed at a male audience
• Crime
• Thriller
• Historical
• Sci fi & fantasy
• Classic titles
• (currently NO general fiction, romance or books aimed at women please)
Non-Fiction – written for a general audience (as opposed to academic audience/textbooks)
• History (NZ, Māori, war/military, ancient & general)
• Self-help
• Modern biographies & sport biographies
• Cars & motorbikes
• Meditation, yoga & mental wellness
Also wanted –
• Books in a non-English language – especially Te Reo Māori or Portugese (currently NO need for Chinese language books please)
• Dictionaries & thesauri (small or pocket-sized)
• Colourful atlases (particularly small, slim or soft cover versions)
• Jigsaw puzzles (with no missing pieces) – great for keeping restless minds busy
