Opportunity of the week

Hannah Cunningham from Volunteer Marlborough

Neighbourhood Support has had a makeover recently and they now have beautiful, bright, new signs that need to be installed in neighbourhoods around Marlborough. Do you have a couple of hours spare to help remove old signs and put up new ones?
Ideally, we are looking for volunteers with your own transport (although this doesn't have to be a car) and your own tools (step ladder, drill, screws, cable ties, maybe pliers).
The signs, along with a map of streets requiring new signage, will be provided.

One-off or short-term; YOU CHOOSE how much time you give.

YOU CHOOSE between doing only neighbourhoods close to you, or covering a wider area of Marlborough.

Apply online by clicking the read more button below.

Alternatively, send us a message, call 03 577 9388, email vm@volunteermarlborough.org.nz, or book an appointment online via our main Facebook page.

Poll: As a customer, what do you think about automation?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Press investigates the growing reliance on your unpaid labour.

Automation (or the “unpaid shift”) is often described as efficient ... but it tends to benefit employers more than consumers.

We want to know: What do you think about automation?
Are you for, or against?
