The Rangiora Sunday Market is on again this Sunday 6th December in the BLAKE STREET CARPARK from 9 am to 2 pm. Lots of bargains for all from garden tools, handy person tools, a great variety of hand crafts, Christmas goodies, plants, garden sculptures, wood craft, toys, books, beautiful hand crafted jewellry, D V Ds, bikes, adults and childrens clothing, food, health products, printed mugs, etc etc.
FREE ENTRY. We are smoke and vape free, dogs are welcome but must be on a lead. We are the friendly market in the centre of town.
AND FOR THE FIRST TIME IN N.Z. we have the model railway Christmas grotto. Entry fee applies, Adults $2, Children $1 and the children get to drive / operate Thomas and Friends on our large layout. There are 6 layouts to view and the model railway Christmas tree.
Don't forget the great coffee and food at FOOLS OF DESIRE at the market end of Conway lane.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
