Christmas on the Green

Glenna Neighbourly Lead from Hataitai

Join us for Christmas on the Green! It’s a fun family friendly event and combined with our December Market also gives you the chance to purchase Christmas gifts from our wonderful variety of market stalls. Santa is visiting, we have kids activities, a bouncy castle and singing by the Samoan Methodist Church Choir.
With food and drinks available, take some time to relax and picnic on the Village Green.
Please bring cash as most stalls don’t have eftpos.
Programme:
11.30am - An appearance from Santa for his annual lolly scramble
11.45am - Kids Races
12.30 - Singing by the Samoan Methodist Church
Plus a bouncy castle for all day fun and children can craft their own Christmas tree decorations.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
